Super casual hair for a trip to Lowe’s! 💁🏼‍♀️🙊 Just a few ropes into a braid for choosing which vegetables we want to grow in the garden we’ve had for 2 years but have never used. Also, swipe for a 13 week bump. It pretty much looks the same as week 12 but I can’t suck it in anymore. 🤗 Also, I’m still falling into bed at 8pm (before Luke’s bedtime 😅) because this babe really takes it outta me. So I have to ask: Mamas of both genders, did your girl or boy pregnancy have stronger symptoms?! 🤔 #growingbabypro

Surprise!! WE ARE OVER THE MOON to announce that come October we will be a family of 4!! 💛💛💛💛💛 You guys know we have been trying for over a year and trusting God’s timing has been a perfect lesson in patience. Anything He has ever given me, I’ve had to wait and trust in Him for. And oh, how sweet it is! Currently, I’m exhausted and nauseous most of the time - which is so different than Luke’s pregnancy - so Bran has been the most amazing husband caring for us all. I’m laying in bed wanting to puke as I type this. 😆 Hence why I’ve been so MIA on here lately! But anyways, thank you for the well wishes and prayers and support thus far. Luke is soooo happy to get a sibling and kisses or hugs my tiny 10-week bump all day. We forget how beautiful even the simplest process is and what a well oiled machine this whole staying alive thing happens to be. We are going through a season in the Pro house. Luke was sick, Bran is sick, and now I’m sick. I guess that means we are a close family sharing all the germs. 😅 But anyways, I haven’t been super active on here because watching me moan about not feeling well and barely leaving my house isn’t fun for anyone! I appreciate you all for sticking around and I love the community we’ve built on this app! I miss all the DMs and chats I get when my stories are full, but for the next week or so I’ll be focusing on my little fam. Here’s a throwback of Luke at 6ish months old with his squishy lips. Remembering every day that this is the important work. How it feels when they melt into you, seeking comfort and rest and a quiet spot to lie. Some days are long and some days aren’t long enough. But at the end of it, I choose joy - with him, with God, with my husband. They can take nothing and turn it into something beautiful. ⁣ Thank you, God, that we live in a society where women can be anything they want - just as men have been able to for most of history - and I pray for the opportunity to help other nations see that women are not less than anyone, but equally capable with their unique talents. Looks like today will have to be tomorrow and yesterday will be today. 😜 Also, I cried through How To Train Your Dragon so I may or may not be having a nervous breakdown. It’s ok to accept defeat sometimes so here’s me waving my white flag 🏳 for today. Our dogs broke our screen, peed on 3 things, and won’t stop whining to come in the house. Luke dropped a whole bottle of Gatorade on the floor, has said my name more times than I have dollars in the bank 😅, and has decided he wants to start another fun activity before cleaning up the previous one. #messesabound I only have 1 kid! This is supposed to be easy! Ok, rant over. Not complaining - it’s a blessed mess, but boy, how do those perfect moms do it with such composure? They don’t, friends. They lose their shit too. 🤪 Love you, guys! Let’s embrace our beautifully flawed reality together! 💛

Bran missed me so he came over, but my mom told him he couldn’t get close to me or he would get sick. So he laid on the other couch in our living room and held my hand across the space between us as we watched movies. When my mom left to run an errand, he crawled onto the couch to cuddle me and we fell asleep. I remember when my mom came home she mumbled how it was useless trying to keep us apart. ☺️⁣⁣ ⁣ ⁣....... I want to start writing down our #lovestorymemories, so I’ll be posting some sweet memories here and there. And then when I remember enough of them, I’ll make a book for us and Luke to not care about in the future. 🤣 I hope this inspires you to post your own! I strongly believe when we focus on how much we loved and adored and sacrificed for our spouse in the beginning, the love never dies! Kinda like dating forever. 😀

And don’t worry if your hair is dirty - it adds to the slicked look! I’ll put a quick tutorial in my stories. ✌🏻⁣⁣ If you ever see a hairstyle you want me to break down for you, send it my way! My favorite humans on the planet!⚡️ It’s no secret that Bran and I have been trying to conceive baby #2 for over a year. 🙃 So I wrote a blog post about the 4 natural ways we are increasing our chances of getting pregnant (besides tracking ovulation)! The link is in my bio if you want to read it!⁣ It may or may not be TMI but I’ve had a few people ask for a post about it. 🤗 ⁣ If you’re in this season, know that you’re not alone!! I want to encourage you that God’s timing is always best – and with that comes the peace that waiting is best too! Yes, it’s hard to see all the women getting pregnant around me, and delivering fresh snuggly newborn babes; but I’m also soooo happy for them at the same time. I know that when it is my turn, the wait will make it that much sweeter.
