Overalls, sneakers, and a duster for a day at the zoo! Also, peep those tiny giraffes on Luke’s button down.
Funny story about these overalls: I went to Sonic to get a treat after the zoo (strawberry cream slush – ahhh! so good!) and the first thing the 17-year-old guy/kid that came out to my car said was, “I really like your overalls!” I was taken aback at first and then said THANKS! with a huge grin because never in my adult life has a random teenager complimented me. LOL Then when my husband came home this afternoon he also told me how much he loved them. So there ya go – overalls are in!
Arizona has been sucking up to us Phoenicians this week by giving us some seriously beautiful weather. It has been 70 degrees with a cool breeze and sunshine for the past few days; which means the sun is warming your skin while the breeze is cooling it right down. It’s heavenly! But we know this paradise is short lived because the triple digit heat is expected by the end of the week. (Time to sweat!)
In celebration of this cool streak, we decided to go to the zoo for the day with cousins and friends! As a stay-at-home-mama there’s nothing quite like an all day activity that not only keeps us out of the house but also tuckers out the little ones.
If you want to see more from our day at the zoo – go here. And believe me you want to – there’s a picture of Luke hugging a baby alpaca! I died when I saw it! I hope everyone is having a wonderful week!
